Scenario 2.1: Ask Minos Questions
Check In
After checking in briefly, several of the team members - Jennifer, Nora, Tatum and a security guard, decide to head for the ARM University at Minos. On the way, while stopping to grab a taco, they notice a couple of fellows who have just stopped and are watching them. Taylor decides to insult one of them (with no outward resposne), but Nora finds herself on the receiving end of a mind probe. The group decides to quietly take the two of them out. Taylor does some who-do with the security cameras, Nora somehow figures out how to scramble the telepath's mind, and Tatum takes the other guy out. From the outside, it all (hopefully) looks like one of the guys collapsed after Tatum went over and extended his hand, while the other basically fainted.
Check Out
After getting the guys to one of the University safe houses, the two share that they are part of
AXE, and they were sent by
Kaylee Haithorn to test their defenses. Impressed with Taylor's abilities, the telepath -
Alex Casino - says that he will aid her with developing her abilities.
Check Up
Arriving at the University office none the worse for wear - they did manage to get their tacos from the "Taco Guy who Saw Nothing" (he was in the back getting materials at the time) they meet
Moises Valero. When first met he's edgy, upset, frustrated - losing it. Eventually the group realizes that he is being drugged and decide to investigate. They find out that he's being drugged by his predecessor who was mad that he got re-displaced when Moises was un-promoted from being the AU System Administrator for Minos. They are able to provide an antidote for him.
Further investigation uncovers the real culprit is the
Horns of Taurus, and the team discovers that they are telepathic and they also may be using some sort of glamour to disguise their appearance... or worse, they may be shapeshifters.
