Sir Ninian the Shirtless

Knight Ninian mab Branoc (a.k.a. The Shirtless)

The Humble Knight of Salisbury, ever stepping away from praise, however heroic all can tell his deeds are.
Ninian was born as the oldest son to a loyal and true knight, but also as the child of a proud family. His great-grandfather was an Equites in service to Emperor Maximus, and his grandfather Argat Corfec, the strong-armed, who was one of the knights who wisped the two princes, Aurelius and Uther, away before Vortigern could kill them. So, his lineage is one of great deeds.   Yet, when Ninian became a knight, he did not chase those deeds. He simply fought and learned as his older comrades showed him the path to greatness. After his knighting after the Battle of Linden Pool, Ninian fell in with Sir Aldwyn of Newton , Sir Reccared the Golden , Lord Graid de Axe and Aurelius Sertorius as they did deeds across the land.
His mace became the bane of both knight and Saxon, and it was during the Battle of Terrabil his name was earned, as he rushed into battle without armor, even managing to capture a Lord without anything but his mace and shield.   The years passed, and after narrowly avoiding scandal by his relationship with Lady Jenna, his lord's daughter, he finally wed the fair Cornelia.
After St. Albans, Ninian procured the Crown of Uther, and managed to hide it away in a secure location. It was in the days of Anarchy where Ninian had to stand firm on his values that older heroes had taught him. His lance became renowned as it included Sir Urien the Bastard, Robyn de Brun and Sir Rhett Half-Dane, and in the later days of the Anarchy, Ninian became a deputy marshal and the de-facto trainer for the younger knights of Salisbury.   The loss of his dear wife hurt him a lot, and some say that he exhaled on the field of Netley Marsh, surrounded by Saxon foemen, but with a smile on his lips as he would be reunited with his beloved in the afterlife.
