Hendrik Geertzoon-Mettvergen
Born 1305 AK to a peasant family in the Sternespass, he manifested sorcerous abilities in adolescence and was admitted to the Academy as an apprentice. Enrolled in the Faculty Militant as a neophyte scholar in 1323, granted the grade of Adept in 1326 AK (thesis: “Combat Applications of the Katari ‘Blood Tide’ Methodology”), and then enlisted as an Adept-Militant of the Hellborn Host. Married Dorothea (now the Knight-Banneret of the Hellborn Host) in 1329AK, and was jointly elevated to the nobility with her in 1336 AK.
