Beetles of Zhenzh

The Beetles of Zhenzh are a goblin vassal tribe of the Claws of Nerazh, ultimately loyal to Queen Mes Murderhand. They claimed a territory in the hills to the east of Cameri, in the vicinity of Kab Melekh.
They appeared to have some peripheral knowledge of the existence of dwarven ruins in the area, though they had been unable to enter Kab Melekh itself prior to the arrival of the Savuran expedition led by Stephano di Cario di Bregzana. They were likewise aware of the presence of Tzatu'yshan - whom they referred to as the "Grey Death" - in the area, and were apparantly in possession of prophetic information which foretold a great calamity that would befall the tribe should the Great Death manage to enter the ruins.
Despite many precautions being taken against such an eventuality, Tzatu was able to assassinate Lorelei Volkenglass and enter Kab Melekh on the Night of the Ancestors, 16th day of the 5th moon 1344AK, leading to the destruction of the tomb complex and a battle with the expedition which resulted in major casualties on both sides. The arrival of the dragon Dendrithekimallion led to the death of yet more of the tribe's warriors, including their remaining leaders, and the scattering of the survivors.
Following the destruction of Kab Melekh, the tribe has effectively disbanded.
