Appearance and Personality
Lady Ygraine embodies beauty. Her every movement and gesture convey sexuality, and rare are the men who are not utterly enraptured by her.
She is capable of making potions of a wide variety, something that caused many jeers among the enemies of the late Duke Gorlois. She is also known far and wide for her dancing skills, something she revels in showing off. Despite her innate sexuality and beauty, Lady Ygraine is famous for her chasteness, and is almost embarrassed by her natural grace. He generosity is also noted, for which she is greatly loved by the people of Cornwall whether highborn or peasant.
The knights and nobles of Cornwall maintain that she is the cultured daughter of a petty lord of some little western island. One day she came ashore near Tintagel and the duke fell instantly in love with her. They have been together ever since, and their bond of affection is noted by everyone despite the difference in their ages.
Ygraine is the subject of many rumours, however. Some suggest she is actually a commoner who Cornwall married purely because he craved her beautiful form in his bed; others claim she has Faerie ancestry, being the daughter of The King Under The Waves.
