Castle Raven Sword
Purpose / Function
House and Headquarters of whoever is the Castellan of Raven Sword and Lord of the town of Ravenstadt and its surrounding territories.
Currently occupied by The Raven Swords who serve as Castellans in the name of the Kingdom of Ranangard.
History
Legends say that the keep was first created over 1500 years ago by The Ravenguard who used it as their main headquarters in their quest to fight The Church of Hredd.
Since then the keep has been destroyed and rebuilt repeatedly. More recently it was under the dominion of the Barony of Ralnor, until Ralnor was absorbed into the Kingdom of Ranangard.
Ulric Von Decimo and the Cult of the Blood Moon used the location to cast the Blood Moon curse. They invaded the castle with the help of a Hobgoblin warband. The Cult then left the keep to Hobgoblin, but less than 48 hours later, The Raven Swords infilitrated the castle and claimed in the name of King Ramsus. They have been serving as the keep's Castellans ever since.
