Stone guild
I didn't know there were this many stones in the world.
Structure
At the top are the guild masters. They are responsible for maintaining the administration as the guild takes hold over an ever increasing area and to coordinate goals and ambitions.
Beneath the guild masters are a few types of ranks. There are the reqruiters, who verify and certify that members who join have enough knowledge about stones, rocks and mining. Administrators take care of the various assets, like buildings and finances. Finally enforcers make sure that members follow a high enough standard or they have their membership revoked.
Public Agenda
To make sure that stones are of high enough quality for the purpose they are supposed to be used for.
Assets
In larger towns the stone guild have their own buildings. Recently these have also started serving as places where stone and rock samples from all over the world are stored as a reference.
Normal stone guild members usually depend on their own assets, but in times of need the guild can step in and provide aid.
History
The stone guild started out as a middleman to ensure that the granite coming from multiple mines were all of high enough quality to be suitable for the defensive walls in Erion.
Since that endeavor the stone guild has expanded and is now verifying the quality of stone and stone goods all over the lands. It has also expanded from just granite to all kinds of stones, although it currently does not check on gemstones, as those are under the perview of the gem guild.
