The Wastes - Luhren
The Wastes are mostly inhabited by various organizations and guilds. Thieves Guild, Assassins Guild, and the Organization of the Practice of White Magic (OPWM) are just a few.
Because of which guilds use the Wastes to house their headquarters, it has a reputation for being a criminal's haven, however, they do have reputable guilds and organizations as well. It's easy to disappear once you're there; no one talks unless the criminal in question directly affected your organization. A slight against one can be a slight against all.
No one helps a snitch.

- The Prowlers (thieves guild)
- Guareths (gang of mostly rich folk who fancy themselves as thieves for pretend; they're generally not taken very seriously and are left alone to their games unless they intrude on the Prowlers' territories; unaffectionately named the Masqueraders)
- Liquidators (assassins guild; only a few remain at the headquarters for bookkeeping and taking contracts, but they're scattered throughout the nation and have one location in Garthspire and two locations in Noctre; the Prowlers use them to get the nobles to back off when the Guareths start stepping on toes—a threat that they follow through on if they don't listen; taken very seriously and highly respected for their craft)
- Merchants Guild (fancy, I know)
- Wrights (an artisans guild that encompasses multiple professions: smiths, construction, sanitation, agriculture, service workers, etc. are all part of the same group for strength in numbers—treat one group unfairly, and EVERYONE will take offense to it and strike; they closed down the whole of Demsin before when a seamstress was cheated by a local noble—they don't fuck around and are loyal to their own)
- Organization for the Practice of White Magic - The local mages guild mostly comprises of posh nobles who believe White Magic is the only good and just form of magic to use. Few outside of the Wastes feel the same.
