The several attacks against Thiff, before eventually taking it back from Kadelkonatl.

Several attempts were made to retrieve Thiff from the Western Pillars. The last of these attacks saw the storm mages and Ocean Pride nearly destroying the city in combat. Four of the mages died in the process and roughly half of the present fleet was destroyed. Kadelkonatl did not respond directly to the attacks, but heard of the events and began planning an attack on the Snow Rock Isles, seeming to know that Vestergil had been there.   The city was abandoned, as its destroyed state would give it no further use. Most of the Quai in the territory had been burned away and the Kaban could no longer travel there within its realm. The storm mages would remain in the region to make a front against Krakan Bower, along with many Eldurgrund troops.
