Disaster / Destruction
The escape of subjugated Urrfolk from their shipment to Euvurcrest.
After decades of jolly hunting, the great game of Urrhunting became known far and wide. As those of high renown and skill began slaying Urrfolk on the island, the population began to dwindle. The folk at Urrlógun began to take notice of the lessened numbers of injury, disaster, and taxidermy before turning to the Order of the Eldursteries for solutions. The scholars in the mountains wanted no part in the slaughter, though, claiming that the Urrfolk were not beasts, but thinking creatures. Frustrated, the people of Urrlógun turned to Euvurcrest, as the baron was an avid enjoyer of the sport. He would have scholars research the subject, but requested that several individuals be captured and sent to the mountain city. This request was fulfilled, and 7 of the finest Urr were captured and dragged to Euvurcrest. Unfortunately for the lesserfolk of Eldurgrund, a fire broke out in their camp, on the east most side of the Lyslure Woods. Either feeling sympathy for the restrained creatures, or wishing to protect the cargo, an unnamed individual released the Urr from their bindings, when they promptly fled from their captors. Modern analysis notes that there is still on consensus on most Urrfolk biology. Their method of reproduction is unknown. Many believe that, had their shipment arrived at its destination, these answers would remain unanswered. Documents were later discovered showing that the baron had no intention of researching the specimens, and simply wished to create a small hunting economy in Euvurcrest itself.
