Abbot II's voyage home and her discovery of the disaster at Jurejun.

After the dispatch of Abbot II's ships still had not come back to Drulluvatn, she began to grow frustrated with the delay. She decided to take the rest of her crew and sail back home, promising the Naga-Tel that they would return with more prophetic information. It took roughly a week and a half to get back, where she found the destruction that Kanel Logratte had brought to her home.   Many of the trees had been burned and the smoke and ash had settled. There were no survivors, but a few of Kanel's ships had been destroyed and sat ashore. Ashy skeletons lined the wetland center and many weapons had gone abandoned. It even seemed that Kanel's men had seen fit to collect the strewn-about pearls in the land before returning home.   At the seat of the largest tree sat both her deceased mentor and child, tied to the trees in much the same way the Strand-Bloods would torture insurgents, the strands from the roots and trunk had grown through them entirely, leaving them barely identifiable. Before long, she and her crew fled back to Drulluvatn, preserving as much root and sand from the trees as possible.   First and foremost, she brought root from the tree her child and mentor died upon, allowing it conditions to grow across the voyage. As rapidly as it grew, she refused to trim it back.
