Gathering / Conference
A meeting between Abbot II and Kanel Logratte where she shared the Blood-Strand Prophecy, informed Kanel about the cults of Jurejun and asked for support voyaging towards the new lands.
During this meeting, Abbot demystified Jurejun to Kanel. The workings of the cults were shared and the danger of the prophecy was shared. Kanel had no desire in heeding the prophecy of a "false god," but did not want to make a scene. If word got out about the survivability of Jurejun, it would threaten his claims of desecration and death for those sentenced there to pay for their crimes. Kanel let Abbot leave, knowing she would likely die on her voyage out. Stories showed that boats could hardly survive long voyages, not even Warren the Chummer's returned in good condition. If he let her go, they would surely die to the storms or to Milin Orphi (if Kanel truly believed in Milin Orphi at all) and the royal blood of "Abbot" would be gone and the populace would be none the wiser about criminals surviving the harsh conditions of Jurejun. However, he would still have more work to do, and Abbot would come to regret telling Kanel about any of this.
