The discovery of the Strand-Blood cult by the Saltkrigere

After Hamish sent one of his expeditions south, they spent much time wandering the coasts of the marsh. They generally avoided going on land, seeing the hazards from a mile away. They had gone back and forth, hoping to find any semblance of them. After months of wandering the coasts, they moved into the Thanid Divide, quickly getting their ship stuck. Several retreated to the shore and waited for another member of their fleet to find them. Once being found, they made small forts on the beaches and readied to search the marshes.   Being as mysterious and dark as they are, any of the natives knew how to stay hidden if they wished. The Tara-Jhen knew the humans had dealings with the Naga-Tel, and as such stayed out of sight (assuming this group was united with the Strand-Bloods). The groups had one interaction with a krimit hive, but came out victorious. Seeing as the Strand-Bloods were closer to the northern portion of the continent, the Saltkrigere didn't find them. Eventually, they were presumed dead at sea. Perhaps the survivor they had singled out had lied.   That is, until the coastal fleet's boat became caught. When swimmers went down to clear whatever debris blocked them, they found it was a sunken, buried bow beneath the sands. When they swam lower, they found bits of design not of humans. Spearheads and carvings. They began to believe word of the lizardfolk and decided to move deeper into the marsh.
