Financial Event
In the face of the daybreak revival and a decrease in disease, extreme weather phenomena, and social unrest, Kala would reconnect with its elvish cousins across the sea.
As the world began to leave Ettermiddag, negative conditions would fade into the past, all while global temperatures began to rise. The conditions meant that the J'barri could set out to rediscover the elves of the south that they had heard of in the legends of Renadi history. Having lost nearly all contact 300 years ago, there were no living lionfolk with experience in these foreigners; however, there were occasional elves that may have survived the dark ages and remembered the J'barri. Thankfully, this made for a peaceful first meeting when their connection was reestablished. After short-lived cultural exchanges, finances and trade were discussed. Poueir, understanding its valuable position, wished to take advantage of foreign goods before any others took action. The same could be said for the Council of Kala, who wished more than anything to see the fruits of the Renad-pai Relief Act. These desires would soon come to fruition, with alloy being purchased from Roja and sold via arbitrage. Alternatively, some exporters of Roja would pay exorbitant foreign port fees while importing more than they could sell. All in all, Kala and Poueir would benefit greatly from their reconnection.
