Pledge Correspondence

The Pledge Correspondence is one of two copies recording all of the letters shared between Can-en of Roja and Riyael of Nim. The codex contains bargains, apologies, alliances, as loads of personal conversation between the two figures. The codex shows the immense respect the two had for one another.
The Pledge Correspondence had a sister book, which contained all of Riyael's original writings (while this one had Can-en's originals). Unfortunately, this book was destroyed in a series of Rojan riots, which brought fire to several libraries and museums in the name of J'bar. While the riots were put down, many valuable texts were lost.
