Anivol Brandson
Anivol was a young child when he was forced to move to modern-day Caripreet as a result of discrimination in Astania. He would lose both of his parents soon after the relocation. As a result, he carried a hatred for the ruling class of Astania, although this would later carry to the entire population of the territory. As he grew into his adulthood, he would become a pirate. He took a particular interest in weapons forged by Firemagic and this obsession would lead to his climb to power. When the J'barri Firemages began to emigrate from Renad, he saw an opportunity.
He took their tribute weapons and convinced them to gift him fire magics. He eventually convinced many J'barri and Caripreet citizens to take Astania in order to serve Justice. His razing of the city was brutal, and he would imprison all J'barri that helped him in a horrible betrayal. He ultimately saw all those that helped him and scorned him as the stepping stones to his ascension to baron of the newly forged Eldurgrund
