Mitlind Priory
General Information
Within the cities and towns of Mitlind, mortals have widely differing cultures and sometimes struggle to understand one another. In order to combat this issue, the Priory was established and has helped the people of Mitlind stand united, though they may not necessarily agree with one another.Due to this vital role the priory plays in Mitlind's communities, and the seat they hold within parliament, assaulting a member of the priory regardless of station is considered to be extremely taboo and courts have been swift in their retribution for those who have done so.
Structure
The Mitlind Priory is headed by the Arch-Prior or Arch-prioress. Beneath this station are the priors and prioresses who manage the external chapters of the priory in Mitlind's main cities. The next stage down are the priests and priestesses followed by the novices.
Public Agenda
The Priory's goal is to share knowledge and ideologies throughout Mitlind such that the distinct cultures and communities can better understand each other. As such, novices are often sent to deliver and retrieve documentation to maintain a high fidelity of knowledge and consistency across the organization.
