Travefair

The port city of Travefair in Damargann sits in the delta of the Mislebon River. It has a well protected anchorage and attracts a large amount of merchant ships. While the castle is not well placed to protect the anchorage, the city has set up a series of towers, and chains to prevent ships from entering the anchorage without permission. But being on a delta, it is not able to protect all the channels that lead upriver, so smugglers and pirates are often found well upstream of the city. The city does have a small naval fleet that it uses to patrol the coast and the river looking for these wrongdoers.
