Shimhorn

This large village in central Damargann, grew up around the fortification sitting on the top of a hill that overlooks the countryside. Shimhorn still has a small military presence and is used by the Duchy as a place to send officers in the army for schooling on tactics and strategy. Nobles who are looking to increase their standing at court, also come to attended and learn for a few months, so they may brag later about attending. The people of the village are happy to have the officers and nobles visit their inns and taverns, and purchasing their wares, but mostly they see them as braggards and nuisances that they need to protect their daughters from.
