Prince

The rank of Prince is the fifth level of hereditary titles and the first that is considered royal. It is recognized and used in most of Kyrn and in particular the Empire of Kyrnia. It ranks above Duke and below the royal titles of King and Emperor in the order of precedence. Princes are addressed as "Prince", and "Your Highness". The title of Prince, like other titles in the Empire is associated with a land grant., except in the case of the children of Kings or Emperors, where it is just a stylization granted by that ruler. It is the passing of the land that passes the hereditary title. The spouse of a Princess is given the honorific title of Princess. The female form of Prince is Princess.
