Maplere

The central town of Maplere in Damargann has a reputation as a town that proper citizens don't go to, so that just means they go in disguise. The Lord of Maplere, many years ago, made a deal with a halfling entrepreneur that allowed the halfling to open up a casino in the middle of what was once a small farming village. Now the casino is the town's biggest attraction serving patrons from all over the duchy. Not only does the casino offer games of chance of all styles, but it is said that other "games" can be played for the right amount of coins.
