Worlds End

On the southwestern coast of Aridox are a series of fjords which are frozen in ice for the vast majority of the year. Despite the inhospitable nature of the area, several of the Fjords have thriving communities, the southernmost of which is World's End, often simply referred to as "The End."
Outside the reach of any governing body or law enforcement, the town is infamous for its anything goes mentality. Brothels abound and are ready to service the needs of their clientele, regardless of how exotic those needs may be. Gambling dens are also found on every corner, home to traditional games of chance as well as those that are not generally found in more civilized areas of the world.
Unsurprisingly perhaps, the town is run by the Society of the Ebon Flame and such law and order that is deemed necessary is meted out by the Black Flames.
One might expect the visitors of this remote town with a questionable reputation to be filled with ruffians, thieves, and others looking to escape the eye of law men. While there is undoubtedly a segment of the visiting population that falls into these categories, there is also a large number of wealthy and powerful individuals from across the world that spend some time here in the frozen south. Indeed, many of the establishments here are specifically setup to cater to those who expect a more luxurious experience. Clearly, many pillars of society on other parts of Kruos are drawn here to periodically sate their less socially acceptable desires and the Black Flames and this town at the end of the world are more than happy to provide.
