Personal history
As soon as birth, Seraphina had her entire life planned out. She was the only child of Main and Arwa Kingborn. Meaning when they one day were to see the end of their days, Seraphina had to take the crown and become the queen of Castroba and its people. She was trained from early morning to late night about how she had to act. She studied, only very rarely having time to play and be a child. People came from all around the world to see the future queen, and current princess. It was stressful and hard for a young girl. But at least she knew where it was leading, and that one day because of this. She would be more free than anyone else. But when Seraphina was 6, it all changed. She has a brother. The birth of a royal son meant all the plans that had been made for her were gone. Now because a boy had been born, he would instead take the crown. He would be king, even though he is 6 years younger. The intense training stopped for Seraphina. Suddenly after 6 years of it all, it was done. And it had all been for nothing. Her future had been robbed. A couple of years later, as a teenager she was sent out. Send to the school for magic located in northern Fadiro on an island in the cold sea, known as the Abarous Castle. Here she met a lot of new people. All kinds of people. Somewhere alchemists, somewhere general mages, somewhere battle mages. Some practiced magic used for healing, some practiced magic for convenience and others for battle. She quickly fell in, and found out she had talent for this.
Later on she got into a group of girls who trained dark magic, more specifically necromantic magic. Magic that had been banned from use in the school. But they made a club that would gather at night in a hidden location. They traveled around and gathered all they could get that could help them. They got deeper and deeper into it. And one day they took it a step too far. One of the girls in the group had gotten her hand on a purple crystal. A crystal she had been told was used to open a gateway to the shadow dent. A gate to the realm of Viessa.
One night, far away from the castle and the change to be discovered they managed to use the crystal. They managed to open the gateway. Out came a tall shadow elf with completely black armor. He took a couple of steps closer to the girls with his sword in his hand. Then he said,
“Are you here to enter the realm of the queen, or to challenge the shadows?”
The girls didn't know how to respond. And in the pause where no one responded, the knight started to lift his sword. But before he had time to swing, Seraphina stepped forward.
“We are here to enter the realm of the queen. We wish to speak with her.”
The knight took down his sword again, looked a bit at Seraphina then turned around.
“Very well, you may enter.”
Seraphina didn't look back, and just stepped in. Most of the girls stayed out, but a few of her closest friends from the group followed. When they entered they found himself self in front of a giant black castle, placed in a dark land. They started walking towards the front gate. Guards like the knight they had just seen were placed all over the place. By the wall and the gates. As they reached the gate, the knight who had come out of the portal went up and opened the gate for them to enter. Inside there were just as many guards. On the floor a long purple carpet. He led them deeper and deeper into the castle, before they suddenly got to a door. He opened, and suddenly they were in a giant throne room. Even more guards had been placed in here, and at the other end of the room was a throne where Viessa herself was sitting.
“Who comes into my realm, into my throne room?” Viessa asked the group of girls.
Seraphina fell to her knee, quickly followed by the rest of the group.
“We wish to speak with you…. I wish to speak with you.”
“Stand up.” She answered.
“What would a young inexperienced girl like yourself want to speak with me about?” Viessa said, now on her way down from her throne to speak more face to face.
Behind Seraphina some of the other girls started shaking, and looking around like they had started to regret coming here.
“I seek to regain my birthright. A right that was stolen from me. I wish to gain powers that will grant me the ability to take it back.”
Viessa now had a little smile on her face. She looked Seraphina up and down, then said.
“Oh I know who you are. Your Seraphina, the Princess of the castronians. The one who was born to be a queen. But then it all fell to the ground when you suddenly got a brother.”
Her smile straightened, and she suddenly looked more serious.
“You wish to kill your brother?” She then asked.
It sends a feeling like never before through Seraphina. “It's the only way to make it right again.” She then answered.
“Alright, I'll help you. But you will have to pick only two of your friends here to be with you. Who do you pick?” Seraphina looked behind her, for the first time since the portal had opened. 5 of the girls from the group had followed. 2 of which were her closest friends, and the two who had brought her into the group. She of course pointed and picked those.
“Alright.” Viessa answered, before sending a signal to the guards by the walls. The guards calmly walked up to the 3 other girls. They quickly took out small swords and cut their throats. With a big thumb they fell to the ground, blood started to make small pools on the floor.
Seraphina and her two friends looked down on the 3 corpses that now laid on the ground. They again turned to look at Viessa, who followed up by.
“We will start tomorrow. Tonight you will sleep here. We have a room, and I will send in men for you to have a fun time with. Tomorrow I will teach you about how to use power, how to take it.”
Viessa and her friends were led to a big room, where 3 beds had been readied. They each picked a bed, and got themself ready to sleep. Suddenly the door from where they had come opened, and in came 3 naked shadowelven men. They went to a bed each, so that the 3 girls had each a man.
The day after, the training began.
