King of Castroba Garus Kingborn (a.k.a. The Golden King)
Garus Kingborn, son of Main Kingborn. Garus was born to become the king. A purpose that he took from his sister by simply being born. Garus was born into a world in tension. Only a year after his birth, his father Main Kingborn died in battle. Suddenly the crown was given to his mother, Arwa Kingborn. When he turned 12 he was sent to the temple of paladins in the golden mountains, where he would be taught the way of Paladis and his golden knights.

After years of training as a paladin, Garus has gotten a good strength. He trained in combat everyday at the castle. He also has great endurance and stamina from brutal training.

Personal history
As soon as Garus was born, his destiny had already been planned out for him. His older sister, Seraphina, was meant to be taking the throne, as she had been the only child of Main and Arwa for 6 years. But now, when they finally had a son, she would no longer need to take the throne. That responsibility now rested on this little baby's arms. Though, already a year after his birth, his father died in the first shadow elven invasion. His mother Arwa took over all the responsibilities of taking care of Castroba. She made sure that both Seraphina and Garus got the proper education by the best the country had to offer, while she took care of the country. And when they became teenagers, they were sent off to study. Seraphina was sent to the Abarous Castle for the study of magic. Garus was sent to the castle of paladins, located in the golden mountains.
Here he would be taught in the way of Paladis, and taught how to be a Paladin. They taught about how to use magic for the good of the people. How to combine raw strength with the mystical arts. It was hard, but it made Garus a strong and capable paladin. Yet, his studies were never finished. When Garus was 18 years old, the castle of paladins was attacked by a group of powerful witches and shadow elves, led by none other than his sister, Seraphina.
Seraphina tried to kill Garus. She thought she managed to kill him, as her forces had gotten the castle to fall, destroying everything. But Garus had managed to escape.
Education
Garus studied geography and Languages between the ages of 6 and 12. After the age of 12 he was sent to the Castle of Paladins, where he was taught how to become a paladin. Here he became efficient with light magic, healing magic, and the use of heavy armor, weapons and equipment.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Garus managed to take back Castroba from her sister, and defeat her in combat. After he had collected an army of angry castronians, and other people who wanted to stand by his side and take down Seraphina.
Failures & Embarrassments
One of the biggest failures for Garus, was trying to save the Castle of Paladins. Garus saw the castle in which he had spent the last 6 years of his life fall to the ground. He saw all those he had studied and trained with die by the hand of his sister and her followers in their pursuit of him. He could do nothing to save them.
Mental Trauma
After seeing his friends at the castle of paladins die at the hand of his sister. He swore that he would avenge them. When he then later heard that his sister had also murdered their mother. It all came back. Now he would not rest until he had his revenge. But revenge would mean his entire family would be dead. His father, his mother, all his closest friends at the paladin's castle, and lastly his sister.

Even though his morality has been tested many times. He still wishes the best for all people. Garus has sworn to live and serve his people. Doing all he can to protect and take care of them.

Motivation
A Lot of the motivation for Garus in defeating his sister lies in revenge. A feeling that is trying to pull him away from all he has learned and studied for the last 6 years. Before the killing of his friends and mother, his motivation was to do right by his people that he would one day become king of. But that has changed. He has started getting a more dark and twisted motivation.
