Outpost Security

Structure

Distribution

Outpost Security operations are broken up into five main bureaus based on vessel type/purpose: Military, Residential, Civic, Asset, and Active. Military covers all ADFOR vessels, Residential is responsible for all vessels whose primary purpose is to serve as a place of residence, Civic oversees all public and political-based vessels, Asset covers any (mainly stationary) vessel that provides resources to the fleet, and Active covers those vessels that are in active use such as fishing vessels, salvage vessels, etc.

Usually groups of vessels within a bureau are grouped together in to "directives", though sometimes a single very large vessel can be its own directive. Directives are typically based on population, not number of vessels. In the case of directives with large numbers of vessels, these might be broken down into further jurisdictions.
