A sample of the music I listened to while worldbuilding.
These songs were not inspirational for the world that I'm working on, but are catchy and help me set a good pace while writing. Also great for repetition.
Music that inspires, and sets the mood.
This song, and band, are greatly inspirational for the world and help to set the mood for the Vampire Princes. It's weird, because I made the world and was pretty deep into it before I remembered this band. It's really great.
I was listening to this song while driving. It was there when I decided that the Vampire Princes should be loosely tied around the 7 deadly sins. Each of the Vampire Princes (and probablty most, if not all of the other Vampires) are hollow reflections of their former honor, and ideals. The title really inspired my, I guess, take on the Gift of Vampirism.
I have a habit of making a self insert character in every tabletop roleplaying game I come across, and a lot of the settings I come across in Dungeons and Dragons. It helps me to better understand the rules, character creation, and the overall setting better. I did that for this setting that I'm making, which is different from the other world attempts. Looking over the character sheet, this song came to mind. I feel like it's a song that might share the mood for a lot of baseline adventurers.
