Aborea
Geography
Aborea is often known as the heartland of humanity, since the highest populations of that race are found scattered across Aborea's temperate northern subcontinent. Quite densely populated and heavily settled, Aborea's temperate western shores benefit from high yields of natural resources, home to many loose city states and foundling nations of human empires. The southern subcontinent is home to ruins of the ancestral pre-Shadow Cataclysm goblinoid civilizations, an often dangerous land that only (relatively) recently has become host to the spread of colonizers both from the north of Aborea and other landmasses on Korthos.

Aborea
The smallest but most widely inhabited continent of Korthos- often labelled as the "cradle of civilization" by those who aren't elves or dragons. Victim to much of the Shadow Cataclysm's devastation, the north-western lands in Aborea are often dangerous or barren from those events. The 'sovereign nations' of Aborea are generally referred to as Aerie, Califier, Celadine, Fajar', Godless Munavri, Hejara, Isixa, Karine, Khurla, The Lacquer Coast, Ranga Holds, Republic of the Armadas, Sylk Isle, Tannica, Tornbrid, Whitenorth, and Wösten. In addition, a large swathe of Aborea is either the wasteland of the Overcast Barrowlands or the forests of the The Borealis Reach, both of which are inhabited but neither urban or settled by any one 'government'.
