Hidden Blade of the Ahin
The Pale Blade are an organization shrouded in mystery and rumor. Many calamitous events are often attributed to them within Korinthos itself such as assassinations, disappearances, and even stolen artifacts. They do, however, remain aloof and shrouded in superstition best left to jests and bedtime stories than truly believed in. To those who know otherwise, the Pale Blade is a dangerous organization skilled in subterfuge and combat. Amongst their ranks powerful psionists are sought among the populace of the Ahin, recruited (or stolen) from their families, and trained in the way of psionics, becoming powerful combatants unto themselves. While psionics, and mastery thereof, is held in the highest esteem this does not stop the organization from recruiting zealots skilled in the blade or less proficient psionists to serve as apprentices and rank and file soldiers for the organization itself. Every tool has a place in this arsenal, some are simply more respected than others. The Pale Blade trains its psionists in The Way of the Hidden Hand, a technique that focuses on training psionists to use their psionic powers not only as powerful invisible weapons but their fists and blades as well. Some master this technique with ease, while other choose instead to devote themselves to the blade itself, manifesting their psionic power in strengthening the strength of their steel in a school of training called The Mental Blade.In Recent Years
Recently, rumors have spread that the Pale Blade is making a move once more. This was confirmed when a large number of Ahin attacked the Praetorian Wall in force, forcing their way through and setting foot on Korinthian soil for the first time in at least four decades. This success is largely attributed to agents of the Pale Blade who were seen hurling huge stones with their minds and catching waves of arrows on invisible fields of force. Seen at their head was an Ahin adorned in strange ceremonial armor and flying on a thin disk of metal that skimmed sand and sky alike. This Ahin alone is attributed with most of the destruction caused at the wall and was heard being called Rihsayf, or Wind Sword in the Ahin tongue. With this sudden attack Korinthos has made great efforts to determine where the Pale Blade take refuge and believe that they have their headquarters in Al-Amra, capital of the AhinRaj. With this sudden act of aggression, what exactly will be the fate of Korinthos.We are the hidden blade that cuts out corruption, the sword that eviscerates our enemies, the dagger that silences the opposition.
