Common Courtesies of the Full Moons to Ensure One Does Not Anger the Fae.

Hell, even I know better than to throw out the bathwater at night, especially when the Moon's are full, without shouting out a warning. You tryin to get on the bad side of a Fae, or were you just born stupid?
— Jasper Cameron, Leader of the Bronze Ravens
Although with the Advent of the Twilight Trade has seen some superstition's about the Fae Folk be cleared up, there are some traditions that they are rather insistent that people still follow. Here is my advice from what I know
  • Dont build on Faerie Mounds. Really with the propensity of bad things that happen to buildings that occupy space on a faerie mound you would think no one would still do this, but people aren't always the smartest.
  • Do not build on Faerie Roads (often greener paths from one Faerie mound to another, through field or forest. How would your town take it if you built a building blocking a road.
  • Leaving out treats for local fae is not required, but should one suddenly stop doing so it can be seen as a slight, and bring bad luck to you in. If times are lean, apologize and explain, if if doing so to the empty night seems silly.
  • If you are lucky enough to have Brownies, do not, I repeat DO NOT attempt to catch them in their work, count your blessings and give them gifts as thanks every once in a while.
  • Do not toss out bath water after dark, without shouting a warning first. Really this is just common courtesy, as no one likes getting splashed with your dirty bathwater.
  • Dont disturb a Fairy Ring.
  • Serve strangers and unexpected guests with silverware if you have it, or wooden utensils if you dont.
  • Dont back out of a deal.
  • When the moons are full do not wear Iron jewelry, especially rings
  • ALWAYS PAY FOR FOOD IN THE FAE LANDS BEFORE YOU EAT IT!
  • Never Interrupt a song or dance.
  • Ask before petting.
