History
Personal History
Born and raised within the walls of Swansgard Scout has never seen any other forest but the urban jungle. She went to Claybrid preschool where she kept phase with her peers but quickly she displayed a strong curiosity for the sciences and learning. However displaying physical weakness and a frail body Scout was given supplements and used her personal development hours in building up her psyche to stable and healthy levels. Obedient she did not complain but did not continue with sports afterwards. Scout had a loving family and close relationship with her younger brother Lucas and did enjoy spending time with her family more than she did her peers. Though she had friends a strong need to separate school and leisure they were always kept at an arm's length. At the same time she found it hard to connect with others as many did not match her straight edge studious nature. Where she could connect with her peers was in their collective interest in Knights. Scout collecting cards, following the news, and had as her most esteemed idol as none other than Swansgards number one Knight Specter. Specters charisma, leadership and the pure awe she inspired made her Scouts role model and heroine.Half-Monarch
December 5th 2060. Scout was 17 years old and went looking for her missing brother Lucas who had ran away after suffering a humiliating defeat in bandy. That was when she found him at the central park being attacked by a Dragon who sprung out of the ground. That fated night she meet multiple Knights but most life changing was her meeting with Meigus, a feline looking half Monarch who told Scout of her powers and her real origin as the daughter of Nox, a powerful Monarch who had been executed due to having relations with a human and bestowing someone the name of a Monarch without permission. Lucian, Scouts father, confirmed the fact that Scout was indeed adopted into the Pennington family. Much of Scouts past is still a mystery as well as what her Monarch nature actually means, as no human Monarch has ever been recorded. Her powers though made her of interest of the defense agencies of Swansagard and she decided to join with Guardian where she is now training to one day use her powers to defend the city.Appearance and abilities[/1h]
General Description
Scout is a petite girl who at the age of 17 has yet to gain much shape, instead keeping a very thin plank-body type. Shes half hidden in her long coppery hair flowing in unruly locks that she refuses to cute. A bit near sighted and often wears rectangular glasses with thick red frames. Though her school does not have uniforms and even considering the fact she now is going through a privet curriculum she dresses in mutely colored school-girl-chic clothing.
Monarch Powers
Being a half-Monarch means having a Monarch name that can bind others through Fey contracts. These contracts creates bonds that Scout can use to weave in words of power to give the one who made the contract, the Knight, special powers, as well as other effects. For now she is still learning and trying to find words that resonates with her and her bonds.

Family Ties
Lucian Pennington
Lucian has been Scouts father growing up. A huge man-child with a love for music and books produced pre-Dragon Calamity (the 1980’s and 1990’s) with his favorite book being “The Little Prince” who he has read to Scout multiple times and continues to do so when Scout is hurt or sick in bed. Lucian knew all along of Scout being a half Monarch and is convinced she is destined for great things and so pushes her to pursue this side of herself as much as possible. However during the fated night at the park where Lucas got attacked Lucian suffered incomplete spinal injury after being flung into a tree by the tail of a Dragon. Though he can barely get his legs to move he still supports Scout. Though his condition and inability to continue with his work for now Scout did feel pressured to quickly join a defense agency and work hard to get the money and status to secure a comfortable life for her family.
Julian Pennington
Julian being Scouts mother has suffered a lot of stress over these recent changes. She is a middle aged woman working as a nurse at White Wings Hospital. Quiet and reserved she does have a great need for control and reassurance. She agreed to adopt Scout believing she was an orphan as the result of a Dragon attack; a very believable common story. However, learning of the Monarch powers Scout possessed she tried to sway her girl to keep living the “normal” life they had lived until then as Scout had no obligation to pursue these powers since they had been kept a secret from her until now as well as Julian not wanting to send her child to fight Dragons.
Lucas Pennington
Lucas is Scouts four year minor brother. He has a love for sports and Knights with Scipio of the Winter Court being his favorite after he saved him during the fated night at the park. His relationship with Scout used to be a warm one. Sitting together when doing homework, loving the same books and movies, and both spending a great deal of time inside the core family. However learning of Scouts powers and that they are not in fact biological siblings has changed Lucas behavior around her, turning a cold shoulder. Most of all Lucas hates the attention Scout is gaining by simply being born with powers. This twist making everyone; his parents, friends, classmates, continuously talk about Scout and her team of Dragon fighting Knights.
Other
Nox
Nox is the Monarch who gave Scout her true name and by extension her Monarch powers. Though long dead Scout continues to try and figure out what happened to Nox and how they handled their Knights and bonds to get a clue on how she might go about extending her own powers. Scouts feelings towards them being complicated as in a way she sees Nox as a father, but then she does not have any memories of the dead Monarch.
Meigus
Meigus is an old fey with the appearance of a white cat made out of marble with organic baroque-esque patterns over his hard skin and intelligent yellow eyes. They are a half-monarch with the power to manipulate bonds made with them but cannot make Knights themselves. During the fated night at the park Meigus made a vow of truth saying with Scout and has acted as her guide while she learns of her powers. Meigus has also sworn to protect and watch over Scout as they had a close relationship with Nox and wishes to take care of the Monarchs name.

Great article! While overally it’s quite fleshed out, I think you can add some extra magic here by formatting it a bit bitter so that it pleases the eye more. Maybe add some quotes , expand on the sidebar, use some other headers and such. Still congrats and keep up the great work!
