Caitlyn 'Cait' Stonewright

Written by DMStretch

Ever since Cait was a young girl she has always been eager to help people. If ever she would see someone hurt Caitlyn would do her best to tend to them as best she could. This later led her to volunteer at the local Benito Raveré Hospital in Illadryia's poorest district three days a week. When she's not using her skills to help those in need she would frequent the local libraries, spending many hours searching through various tomes of knowledge to expand her mind and learn new ways to better herself and her abilities. When she can she visits the Collegiate Arcanum to practice her skills in healing magic and to talk with any of the tutors there that she can, after her morning prayers to the Goddess of virtue, healing and good health, Eireia.   Raised by a stonemason father by the name of Bravis, he was always worried about Cait's safety so he taught her what he could about defending herself. Also having served in Mymeara's military for five years he knew not only how to fight but also about the dangers of the world. When she was old enough and had learned all he could teach her, Bravis gifted her his old mace just in case she would ever need it. Caitlyn was always close to her family and holds them dear to her heart, the most dear thing in her world is her parents. While her father taught her about the world, it was her mother, Ardeia, who she went to for advice.    Two years ago a crisis hit the hospital where she volunteered, for some reason the foundations had cracked and the building was deemed unfit for use. With so many sick people in need of care, Cait couldn't sit back and leave them without help. The building needed to be demolished the damage was so bad. In Cait's mind she had no choice but to do what she could to help out, she tried everything. A decision was made to relocate the hospital and construct a new building for it but funding was short. So Cait turned first to her father, being a stonemason, to see if he could help, who was more than willing to step in but there was a problem. This would not come cheap, being the ever caring and proactive person, Cait turned to the only source of funding that could afford such a venture. Within a week the project received an 'anonymous' donation and the work was given the go ahead. There was one person involved that knew all too well where this donation came from, the Mattiel Syndicate. This was with an understanding that one day a favour would be asked of her in return.
