Basic Information
Anatomy
Devils are known for their remarkable anatomy, being some of the more complex of all creatures. Their chests resemble a humans, but with large wings sticking out of their shoulderblades. These wings run a couple decemeters above their scalp and form like massive cluncky shields down to their kneecaps. Realistically, the devils should be heavily weighted down by the massive chunks of flesh and bone, though their shoulder, neck and chest muscles which carry twelve times the amount of bulk and density than humans lift them effortlessly.
Furthermore, their washboards of chest muscles are so hard and dense, that their twelve packs could easily break a spear while barely piercing their leather thick skins. It'd likely take a lance or something even worse just to cause a somewhat significant wound to them, which still wouldn't help too much as their blood is piping hot and swiftly meld or burn wounds together. Even should it be bone deep, their skeleton is rigid enough to smash a hammer over their skulls, and they'd barely be hospitalized for more than two hours.
Their arms, while humanoid are slightly bigger than a gorillas and twice as strong, as devils are to having flipped steamtanks over. Even though that does demand them to break a short sweat, no mortal race is capable of doing such a feat alone. Nor is their nails ability to tear through hardened steel any less impressive, as on their hands sport four thingers, with a thumb and three thick claws that are surprisingly dexterous and nimble, while able to puncture and rip an iron door from it's hinges.
Underneath their guts run two massive legs that somehow resembles the mix of a horse and a goat's, without the hair and with even thicker skin, with thrice the kicking power to that of a well bred warstead. Though not with hooves, but a mix of that and raptorlike claws, which can easily perch lamps and posts that by no means should be able to hold their weight, due to the wings holding them up with a flow of air which comes as natural to them as breathing.
Genetics and Reproduction
How Devils reproduce is only speculated around, though due to the mortal curiosity and tendencies to be rather creative in their factless beliefs on how things work, it's said that Devils reproduce through everything from gory and horrid fleshcarving rites, to impregnating women in their dreams, to simply working just like any other mammal creature. The only real fact around their mating rites is that they are incredibly secretive about them, which likely implies some form of weakness among how they reproduce.

Social Structure
Power and influence are the two guiding factors for the Devils, they believe the strong will always lead the weak because they are the ones who can make decissions and stick with them, as well as put everyone else back in their place if they start to stir shit up in the order.
This strength doesn't only come in the shape of muscles though, but all factors play a part to sum up a Devil's full might. It's everything from how big and strong they are, to how intelligent and magically adept, even charisma, charm and a proper social intellect with strict etiquette's are deemed the three most important traits of power, as the one who can make others believe in their cause and worthiness to lead them will always have a more loyal following than the one who needs to flex muscles everytime a minion falls out of line.
Facial characteristics
Devils have very linear cheekbones, often framed by small pieces of exoskeletal scales that look more as human bone, rather than the hide of a lizard. Besides their heads, their faces tend to be oddly humanoid though with glowing hot coals of eyes, red and orange included with many other blazes from blue to yellow to green and pink. Their eyebrows are also not made of hair but from vowen muscle and bones that run up their skulls into pairs of magestic horns, all shaped very differently to each individual.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Devils can be found scarsely all over the realms of hell, though they are most prominently found within Abyssius in it's capital city. Some Devils can also be found among the local population of different mortal cities, some as spies and inquisitors. Others as defectors which the inquisitors are hunting down.
Average Intelligence
While many Devils have the look of mindless slabs of meat, they are decievingly intelligent, surpassing most mortals in both magical and technological advancement by millenia. They are great at reading social patterns, as well as toying with people like they were dolls. Beyond this they are also excelent physicists, tacticians and mathematicans, known to be capable of taking their minions problems into their own hands, if their intellect is found lacking.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Devils have greats eyes, ears and the full pack of the seven senses, with peculiar grace to the knowledge of their bodies and movements, even though they're all hunks of muscles. They are nimble like a squirrel and can climb with the grace of an ape. Beyond that, they are even able to fly shorter distances and glide with their massive wings.
Devils are also able to communicate through telepathy and, even though they can be resisted by the strong of will, are able to read thoughts and even able to change the order of reality to the senses of the weak willed. This ability goes beyond the waking realm, as they can also manifest themselves in the dreams of the sleeping and live them out, no matter how strong of a psyche they have. An ability which they are even able to use on the most recently diseased, before their soul properly departs their corpse.
Civilization and Culture
Beauty Ideals
Devils see beauty in power and might, just as well as health and personality. Ironically, Devils much enjoy the idea of deception and games, as many of them see creatures like snakes and spiders as both majestic and cunning. Most of all though, they see beauty in themselves though in a pridefull manner rather than a healthy modest way, where they will often consider their own bodies and minds to be the most grandeur piece of art that has ever existed.
Gender Ideals
Though both male and female Devils are more than capable in both regards, due to their differences in areas which they excel, female Devils will most often be the puppetmasters who fool and manipulate people into dancing to their every tune, while male Devils are much more prone taking what they want through pure force and malice.
These roles are fleeting though, as a Devil who is not capable of competently carrying out both of these roles to a competent degree are seen as weaker and should bow down to those capable of doing both the woman and man's task. The reason why these norms exist is purely to apply what differences they have to ensure their wider society functions on the best possible levels it can, since everyone would be doing that which they have a natural talent or affinity for. In the end, their principles for what Devil is best suited for the task goes much further than purely gender and into ethnicity, power and rank. In general though, there are six different specialized groups of Devils, based on their three ethnicities and their respective genders best suited capabilities.
Courtship Ideals
Devils don't court one another and are also rumored to not understand the concept of love, outside of their own personal sphere. Even though this has proven not to be entierly correct at all. They will often take several concubines from different races and groups as both lovers and stewards, often for the singular purpose of gaining power and influence through their ties. Though lesser demons will fill a majority of their courts, it is human and elven nobility they nowadays prefer to gain influence over their rulers.
Relationship Ideals
Most Devils do not believe in equals when it comes to relationships. Their best friend is themselves and everyone else is either someone weaker to take advantage of or use, while everyone who is stronger is someone worthy to serve in order to gain some of their glory and hopefully surpass their power one day. However, there are cases were Devils have formed bonds of friendship and aided one another out of care rather than self gain. This compassion is however seen as weakness, hence rarely happens.
History
Not much is known about the Devil's history, how they came to be and where they've got their roots from. What is known is that they are a race capable of space travel, who came to the planes of hell before it became known as hell. The first two planes to form hell was both Zarkath and Abyssius which were colonized by the Devils.
Later, they would spread their infernal realm onto other worlds, taking over remnants of civilizations and warping creatures that range in all forms and shapes from sentient beings to animals. This done through both conquest but also diplomacy and forming of alliances. An alliance on a quest to keep spreading their ranks and increasing their number of dominated worlds, which has now taken them to the mortal lands of Arcathia, especially the regions of Peregon and Arbosylvia.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
While Devils are feared and respected by the rest of the infernal armies, they have a mutual hatered towards the forces of the abyss, just like most mortals also have. Though the Devil's ire towards the abyss is tenfolds that of the mortals. It is even on such a scale, that Devils will gladly ally with opposing forces even for just a short time, to demolish the forces of the abyssal gods.
In truth, most of them do not share a hatered towards mortals at all. Rather, from the amount of Devils that got slain by human hands in peculiar during the two wars they had with the mortal realms, they have slowly grown to both respect and fear their tenacity as well as their boundless righteous rage that often make them fearless in the face of certain death.
Powerfull but slayable
While Devils can seem like exceptionally powerfull creatures, both capable of flipping steamtanks and unleashing flaming whirlwinds onto the ranks of their foes, they have at several occations been slain by far less powerfull mortals. Some by the arrows of a single sharp-eyed elven ranger. Others have decided that considering a more carefull approach than charging forth on the frontlines was in order, due to human guns and bombs. There are even rare cases of mortal heroes taking down Devils in honorable combat, one famous such case when an old noble of Feuville struck an axe into a Devil's neck which resulted in a final blow. There are even those who are capable of summoning up enough force and through years of dicipline and training have the ability to punch the lights out of one with their bare fists. Though these are no feats of any normal individua, not to mention the chanses that the Devils will put themselves in a situation where they are at risk, is unlikely to happen.Neutral, not evil
That the Devils would be pure evil in it's full extent, is far from true. They have their own goals and their own way of seeing life. Just like any mortal, they are capable of both good and evil, though most are fully aligned with hell and firmly believe their path is the true one, no matter if they agree with the cruelty they cause or not. There are also those that have separated themselves from the infernal, some throwing allegiance aside fully to persue their own missions, with a rare few even allying with the mortal forces as they believe it better suits their goals.

Every Devil looks like a combination of bodybuilder and model, while somehow keeping themselves away form the extremes. To say they are dangerously beautiful is an understatement, as many people against their better judgement consider them the incarnation of lust and attraction.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Devils generally come in the body hues light brown, orange, red, blue and purple. Often in a soft mixture of these colours that become darker the further away they spread from the chests.
Devils also tend to have large, sharp and cruel looking tattoo's painted around their chests, shoulders and back. These tattoos often come in non-symetrical shapes, meaning they might only have marks on one shoulder, or different looking ones on each shoulder. These symbols could also be runes of power, though the more runes a Devil has doesn't necessarely mean much on the powerscale of said individual.
