Background Story
Early childhood
Aliosha was born as part of the Timur Steppe Kozzakhi Clan,the same day as Dylara,his all time best friend.His father was Vladek Tajmanov,the last leader of the clan. As is common in their culture, he was exposed at early age to other kids for learning how to live together and the Kozzakhi’s morals and life philosophy. The one who turned into her best friend was Dylara and this friendship was pretty special because in Kozzakhi culture,when two people share their birthday they have an especial connection between them both (they may share one or more interest and are meant to meet in some moment of their lives, even if they live far from each other) and if they meet and become friends ,they’re blessed by good luck. His parents had a good relationship with the rest of the clan’s members.Vladek used to be beloved for almost all of them because he was a nice, comprehensive and strong leader with an especial personality, but it became closer to Vadim and Samaria (Dylara’s parents) when Vladek started to read tales and tell legends to all the kids at night before sleeping,the kids from both families started to be united by more features: their admiration towards Vladek and their interest for magic related stories. He and Kira together raised Aliosha with values of perseverance, kindness. Because Dylara used to spend a lot of time with him, he started to consider her as a “sister” and his parents as an adoptive daughter. He and his best friend used to be considered the "naughty pair" as them both were very likely to get involved in troubles.After Ivar took the power
When Ivarosovic Groznik claimed the Eagle Throne as his own and changed the traditional title of the monarch from Prince to Tsar (Caesar,Emperor),his heavy desires of making the Kingdom of Moskova even larger and getting more and more resources and money made him lead conquering campaigns that were bigger and stronger than any other ever done before. Kozzakhi peoples were, alongside with Nodvroguites, the most affected ones but Kozzakhi also had to face a stigmatization propaganda and repression from the government due their culture. Mikhai’s presence on the Royalty had a pretty big influence on this situation.Ivar troops made threats on Vladek’s clan (some people think Mikhai’s story influenced in the decision of fighting this specific clan) so he felt the obligation as a leader of defending it. Afetr Vladek got murdered by Ivar's troops, his personality began to change, for turning into almost the opposite of what he used to be as a child. He became a darker person, with lesser optimism and unlike Dylara, he didn't conserve his cheerfulness and loudness. He also began to be a lot quieter than before, and in some sense became an "old man in the body of a kid" as he ended being pretty structural and a skeptical about everything related to magic. Despite showing strength, maturity and even lacking of feelings sometimes, inside him the sorrow and hasn't vanished. He ended being the most stressed, responsible, shy and least positive of the pair, but he kept his golden heart as always. About the move to Barkistan, he ended forgetting the adventurous life he used to have when he was a children.Personality
He's considered the "boring one" of the pair. During the novel, he's calm, sometimes grumpy and skeptical about magic and takings risks, making his personality contrast a lot towards Dylara's one, even to the extreme of seeming total opposites sometimes. Some of these traits make him be a so called "elder in the body of a boy". He also is rather dark and even pessimistic contrasting to his best friend's bright view of the world. His clothes follow the traditional Kozzakhi fashion.He usually wears a white-avory shirt with blue traditional embroidery. Over his shirt,he wears a long red coat which is furry and warm. His pants are brilliant blue and made of a shiny fabric. Them are wide and comfortable for jumping or fighting. He wears a reddish dark brown fur hat with purple and red feather ornaments. Due the typical cold weather of Moskova’s winter,he wears brown furry snow boots.
