Brilia

Brilia is one of Kindevion's five major continents and possesses the largest landmass. It is named for the first and oldest kingdom of the realm, Brilon, which encompasses most of the continent in the Third Millenia of Man.

Geography

Much of Brilia is made up of wide, rolling plains. The continent is dotted in countless lakes and ponds, which render much of the soil fertile for farming. In the northern lands that border the Frigid Sea, the land is airid and plagued by permafrost. Most of Brilia's mountains are located on the coasts, rather than inland, which promotes a lack of rivers for the region. The continent's highest point of elevation is in the region of Gaul, which forms a plateau that renders the land frigid. The continent is bordered on all sides by ocean, from the Gulf of Kings to the south to the Tarstanic Ocean to the east.
