The Founders Sect

The Founders Sect is a faction that has been part of the Kiannon ever since the Mothership entered Kiannon II space.  The Sect has a great deal of influence in Cathay and in other part of the Coracle, but it does not have a lot of sway in Vieta or Eldritch.  
Vieta was established by the AGP and they have managed to dominate most forms of self-government that were established.  They have even limited the access of colonists to the resources on the Hub, the interstellar library of sorts, that contains the history of Earth and the peoples that left it.  The AGP does not want their membership or those they control to know much about how the old Earth died.  
Most people who grow up in Vieta or Eldritch do not know that they are granted free access to the Hub or the Mothership's resources.  For that reason, The Founders Sect has made it their business to proselytize in Vieta and Eldritch about Cathay and the resources available.  They have also planted documents and information about other ways to access the Hub (via VR, etc) outside of AGP control.  They keep a sniffer on the documents and when they notice that someone has found the documents and pursued additional information, they reach out and give those colonists a login separate from the logins issued by the AGP.  
If the users accept the information and the access, they try to use the access to influence the users to be more positively inclined to support the Founders Sect.  The Sect has also made it a goal to establish more outposts in Coracle within the next few years so that settlers can live out from under AGP influence and control.  
The Founders Sect is aggressively sending out scouts and have already established 2 outposts with goals to set up another one on the West coast of Coracle.  All of this is to present a positive image of the Founders Sect and what their goals are in opposition to the AGP.
