The History of Khorvaire so far
The history of Khorvaire is rich with history, spanning 4,000 years of empirical conquest and buildup followed by years of embellishment, lavish opulent wealth, and leaving the countryside by the wastes. Centuries- to millennia-old dilapidated structures and ruins can be found, with any number of bandits, mob-creatures, or monstrosities inhabiting. The people of smaller towns either slave away to find resources to send to the capital city or eke out a meager living hoping to never be thought of by patrolling city guards.
Current Species & Cultures
The capital city is diverse from the port and docks, but the deeper into the city you go the more humano-centric it becomes until no one trusts a non-human being. The outskirts of the city are slums, poor broken districts filled with people hoping to be found in the historical notaries for being of royal birth. Many die before even seeing a lacrama spell-crystal.
Beyond the capital boundaries, the orcs to the west in the Shadow Marshes keep to themselves, distrusting of Eberronans. They are civilized as the native American tribes are civilized.
The dargonborn, illegal race of half-wyrm beings, are relegated to Q'Barra and are hunted on-sight to death outside of the forests of Q'barra.
