Khorvaire

The world of Eberron has technologically flourished for centuries, spurred by the prosperity of Torgun, spreading south until the city of Stormhome was established on the continent of Khorvaire. After taming the wild, Stormhome set about building the greatest society in this or any age, and great kings grew the reach of Eberron to the straining point. The last king of Khorvaire, King Ordus, focused his attention too much on the city and inhabitants of Stormhome than the rest of his kingdom, allowing monsters from beyond to encroach into the borders to the south, and when he passed, his son was ill-equipped to handle the issues of the state and the son recused himself to the northeast islands, creating a power vacuum in his wake. Now, greater and lesser guilds vie for control of the city and leave the kingdom to crumble as the infestations run amok. Now, bandits travel the roads outside the capitol ports, and in the farthest corners, untold horrors lie in wait for unsuspecting adventurers...
