Runic Magic

Rune magic finds its origins with the gods Ne’racanthi and Cha’sidain. The secrets of the texts from the Great Maze were taught to the giants and first dragons. These beings were able to channel the magic bound into the very physical embodiment of the weave to channel great power that could not be channelled any other way.
Since that time the other folk of Khinarzi have learnt to channel the power of runes. Though none can generally equal the mastery of dragons and giants, who both have produced artefacts of unimaginable power often lost to history, or used to imprison great and ancient evils that have maintained to this day.
