Khinarzi

This world is made of five kingdoms, each unique in its own way and filled with those individuals chosen by fate, for what varies by kingdom and the individuals' fate specifically but most will go down in history for their deeds.   The kingdoms are places of peace and life, this is contrasted by the Shadowlands, this lifeless wasteland is cursed by the coming of the Dark One, who while defeated long ago, his mark still wounds this area of the world. Monstrous creatures and evil individuals gather to serve the whim of the Dark Lord, massing to serve his whims and bring doom and devastation to the five kingdoms.   But it is in this world which many adventurers thrive, going on heroic adventures, diving into hidden dungeons and bring aid to those in need. In this world it is the destiny of many adventurer's to find their fate. Earn their glory! And etch their names into the annals of history!
