Guyyaer

The Great Bear, Nature's Warden, The Lost, The Caged

Guyyaer is the great spirit bear, the caged warden of nature, the mother of werebears. She was one of the ancient Great Spirits of Molba, and as such was one of the elders for the druid circle of the moon. She stood as a warden of nature, protecting the wild spaces and ensuring the folk of Khinarzi made their settlements to work with rather than against nature. She taught them to hunt animals respectfully and sustainably, with many rites in those early communities for respecting the spirits of animals hunted by those cultures.
When the Dark One came and launched the first Shardowmarch, Guyyaer and her circles joined the armies amassed against the Legions of Darkness. She was a strong bulwark upon the battlefield, forming a strong defensive center that others could fight around.
Then the Dark One took to the field, the great spirits sought to fight him together though in his rage Jenkalka rushed ahead of his allies, this disorder led to a swift victory for the Dark One. He broke the spirits and then cursed them and through them, their druid circles. The druids immediately under the light of the moon that had before empowered their circles now instead turned them into monsters, the first lycanthropes.
Meanwhile the Dark One tried to break the great bear and turned her against his kin, but she would not be broken, her children would not be slaves to the Dark One’s armies. This allowed werebears to remain amongst the armies of the plane fighting against the Dark One.
With the fall of the Dark One, Guyyaer remained in captivity, the Dark Lord tried many times to break the spirit but never succeeded, though she has not been seen by anyone since the Dan Era. Guyyaer did however leave a final gift for her flowers to aid against the Dark Lord. The Claws of Guyyaer were a few weapons she left that allowed her to connect with those who would fight the Dark Lord. It is said his most trusted Claws are formed from one of her literal claws and course with a part of her power and the blades also allow Guyyaer to sense what the wielder senses and influence the world without having to take to the field in person, with her giving them warnings of the Dark Lord’s plans that they may stop them.
