Keturi (keh-TOO-ree)

This is the collective name for those who are Masters of the Five Towers situated at the center of Salcreria

Qualifications

These five individuals are chosen from a young age and groomed for this position. They're selected based on magical potential. Several possible candidates are selected and begin training. As their training progresses these candidates are weeded out until only one is left. This final candidate receives much more intensive training at the tower itself. They live and work alongside their mentor until the day they either retire due to extreme old age or die. At this time, the candidate assumes the role of the new keturi, taking on the usename associated with that tower: 

• Luerme - Spring
• Quersa - Winter
• Speuspeuvmu - Summer
• Bucle - Autumn

 The only one that doesn't have a use name is the Obsidian Tower. By tradition, its master continues to go by their birth name.

Appointment

It's their job to maintain the archives, records, and history of the siathi. They collect this information from the other regions and compile them. Any magical or potentially dangerous artefacts are in their care.

Accoutrements & Equipment

Each Keturi has a a sword that comes along with their office. These sword don't function as swords but act more as conduits for their magic when they're away from their towers.
