Personal history

Niner Horhik worked as a cook in a Whiteport restaurant for many years as the ninth child of a family of gnomes in Whiteport, keeping his head down and dreaming of owning his own Inn one day. After years of work and an enterprising instinct, he finally raised enough money to build his dream business, the Good Knight's Rest. Now aging, Niner is content to let his staff handle the day to day operations of his business whilst he gets to know his patrons and plays the role of welcoming host.

Education

Niner received very little formal education. He is able to read and right and keep numbers perfectly well, and his family always valued education, but Niner always enjoyed culinary pursuits and after a brief apprenticeship under another well-known chef, Niner became a well-reputed cook in his own right.

Employment

Niner worked as an apprentice under a master chef in Whiteport, and then was employed around a number of restaurants and inns in Whiteport before finally opening his own business, the Good Knights Rest. This business quickly built a reputation as one of the most hospitable inns in Whiteport and became extremely successful.
