Draoi Family
Overview
The Draoi Family is one of the 13 Wixen families to be blessed by Minabi, Deity of Magic. The Draoi family was blessed with the power to imbue any item with magic. How long the magic would last, how powerful the magical item would become, and what type of magic would be imbued depended on the Draoi performing the imbuement. Each member of the Draoi family is born with the ability to imbue magic. Their dedication to study, personal power levels, and willingness to sacrifice will determine how powerful the imbuement would be. In The Time of the Sundering, the Draoi Family became one of the most powerful of the 13 families, as their ability to imbue items made all sorts of mundane items weapons of war. A simple wooden spoon imbued with ambient magic could be thrown at charging soldiers. Since a simple wooden spoon could hold magic very long or very well, after a minute or two, it would blow up. Sticks, leaves, rocks, all of these could become bombs of magic in the hands of the Draoi apprentices. It didn't take much power or finesse to create these weapons. This left the journeymen and masters available to make magical items to hide those that were fleeing, and areas of safety for those who were staying in the Bakat Territories. This time of war pushed the Draoi family to new magical heights in Magical Engineering, and finding out what common and uncommon materials could be imbued with magic.Study the world, study your power, know your limits.
