The Travelling Temple

Asaki's devout created a temple and merchant caravan on the go - all of their religious paraphernalia can be packed into their caravans. The caravans are moved by Oxen sacred to Asaki due to their importance in trade.

Purpose / Function

This temple spreads worship of Asaki, trains clerics, and trades goods that are necessary throughout the land. The caravan follows both rivers and contacts cities who are not on the river. Therefore even those who are not blessed by being on Asaki's waters can see his light.

History

The traveling temple has existed in one form or another for over a thousand years, although the religious significance has waxed and waned. Oftentimes there would be more focus on trade and less on Asaki's worship, though devout would maintain that trade is worshiping Asaki.
