Fashion in the Plains
History
The fashion was more important when thieves who were caught would be given a cut with a special salve - starting at the top of the arm and going down. The salve ensured the cut didn't really hurt, but also ensured the scar would never go away. A sleeveless shirt or gown was an indication that you were above any crimes.
The Nobility
Women wear long gowns with high necks, sleeveless so their shoulders and arms are bared. The gown's length will vary from just above the ankle to floor length. Hair is kept long and braided. Men wear form fitting breeches in neutral colors and tunics. The tunics are usually sleeveless on at least one, sometimes two arms. They are typically audacious colors.Middle Class
Largely follows the upper classes, but they tend to have at least short sleeves. Dresses are somewhat shorter, usually hitting mid calf.Lower Class
The lower classes typically wear long sleeves, their breeches are looser, skirts are above the knee.
