Taloran Manor

A mid-sized, 3 story manor built by the O'Ran family and inherited by the subsequent Taloran family. A fairly unremarkable building which may have slipped into the annals of history unnoticed, were it not for the actions of one Madrius Taloran and the circumstances surrounding her death.
While the house's current owners may have better intentions the past 20 years have left a dark and foreboding aura across the building.

Alterations

In 1077 Madrius Taloran began branding portions of the mansion with her new symbol, the Cheering Man. Chief among these was the ballroom which would over the following two years be further altered to act as an arcane nexus for the purposes of gathering, purifying, and channeling vast quantities of mana.
In 1084 Madrius constructed a ritual room using the disused smokestack of the primary fireplace.
In 1086, following her death, Madrius was able to call upon the latent arcane energies of the house to merge it's interior with an alternate dimension, forming a two-way-gateway which she intended to use to return to the mortal world. A plan which was ultimately foiled through the actions of Tes Reprobi. 
In 1088 Lucia Kumorai scoured the Cheering man symbol from the main hall and began a project to restore the manor.
