High Priest of Rinen

Born to a poor farming family on the western coast of Allegri, Florian was never interested in wealth or status. Even within the small hamlet near Clavier that he was raised in, his ambitions were solely focused on learning to maintain their modest family farm with his parents and caring for his two younger sisters. His life was simple and he was content.

Shortly after his fourteenth summer an envoy from the temple of Rinen established a small shrine to their goddess. The three priests quickly won the affection of the locals by offering useful insights into upcoming weather patterns and simple farming advice. The followers of Rinen are known for their vast knowledge of vegetation and crops which they openly shared among the farmers willing to listen. The clerics used the knowledge and mystical gifts given to them by their goddess to avert many unforeseeable hurdles.

As a prominent worshipper of Rinen, Florian has had many different moments of true faith - granted prophecies of unknown and mysterious importance that baffle scholars and clergy alike. He takes personal pride in his ability to decipher hidden wisdom from these visions but his mind is not as strong as it once was.

Until this short phrase came to Florian while in deep contemplation. Still managing to stand tall decades after reaching old age, Florian is gaunt and thin. He sits calmly, seemingly deep in contemplation and radiating an aura of perceived wisdom and sagacity. When Florian moves, he's an awkward sight, especially if he's trying to do anything quickly.

Facial Features

Silver, shoulder-length hair partially hides a thin, tense face. Big round eyes, set closely together, watch his surroundings steadily. An arrow left a scar, stretching from just under his right eye and running towards the right side of his lips. Deep creases across his brow and a spiderweb of wrinkles at the corner of his eyes show evidence of a mind often tugging at the loose strings of hidden mysteries.
