The Winter Guard is a formation of Stromus Solare far up in the north. Their duty is to watch over the prisoners send to Sinners Rest and claim the north of Kandria.

Right now 25 000 men and women are up in the north serving the Winter Guard

Structure

Standard hierarchic protocol but with the addition of the mission-type tactics, which means forces get a command and it is up to them and their resources on how to solve a situation.

Training

Mostly survival training, living despite of extreme cold temperatures, survive on their own, learn to overcome your limits. Combat training against wild animals, with and without weapons, combat training against humanoid creatures, fighting in formation.

History

The Winter Guard was founded directly after Heinrich Eisenherz returned home from his 5 years of exile after defeating a crazy magician.
