Kan K'uhul - Cult Of The Origins
The Kan K'uhul is the cult of the Chan'Matz. Its core text, Of The Origin, written by Necalli Ohtli explain the origin of Kigen, born from the reciprocal perforation of the planes of Kūsho and Uchū after an eternity of collision and friction. Although considered as a cult by foreigners, the Kan K'uhul is more of a kind joke mocking those whose beliefs are unfounded or flawed. However, they often use its imagery in many aspects of their life such as clothes and architecture. It is also important to highlight that, although "fictionnal", the myth is only describing poetically what the Chan'Matz know of the creation of the universe.
Creation Myth
Ajawālicue, the titan of energy, and Ajawātonac, the titan of matter, were fighting each other since the dawn of time when, exhausted, they lowered their guard and finally mortally wounded each other. Slowly leaving their bodies, the bloods of the entities were mixing. Losing consciousness, they saw a new being rise from their fleeing lives, from The Eye of the Universe, a being of both energy and matter, a being of interactions. Tōnacājaw, for that was his name, would grow, relentlessly, nourishing itself from the blood of his creators, under their slumbering gaze.
