Chan'Matz, The Wise Guardians

The Chan'Matz is the oldest of the Great Races, they are calm, thoughtful and merciful. They are man of science and letters, mainly archaeologists and poets but they also are reputed blacksmiths and astronomers. They were the first of Diespeíros's people to discover Nankaï and practice magic. They are the main population of the Tribe of Earth. Martially their philosophy is "the best attack is defense", they are master of Xok'Al an impassive long ranged fist fighting style.

Anatomy

Their head is that of a horse with the nobility of the wolf. Men are crowned with two horns, one on each side of their head, and a third can grow between them. Women on the other side only have one horn in the center of their head, a second can grow ahead of the first. Their hands and feet are geared with powerful clawed fingers. Their mane goes from their horns to their tail where it looks like a flame. Except for their mane, hair are only growing around their wrists, ankles and jaw. Their skin is partially covered with strange, small scales which are as soft as silk. They have strong muscles though they remain discreet.
